Anemia in pregnant women can lead to various serious complications for both the mother and the fetus. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between iron (Fe) tablet consumption and the incidence of anemia among pregnant women in the working area of the Laboy Jaya Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas) in 2025. This was an analytical survey with a cross-sectional design, conducted from September 8 to 16, 2025. The study population consisted of 711 pregnant women, with a sample of 88 respondents selected via simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The results showed that 51.1% of respondents consumed Fe tablets regularly (≥90 tablets), and 52.3% did not have anemia. Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between Fe tablet consumption and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women (p-value = 0.001). Pregnant women who did not consume Fe tablets regularly (≤90 tablets) were 3.194 times more likely to develop anemia compared to those who consumed them regularly (POR = 3.194; 95% CI: 1.278–6.481). It is concluded that regular Fe tablet consumption is significantly associated with a reduced risk of anemia during pregnancy. It is recommended that healthcare workers and families enhance education and support regarding adherence to Fe tablet consumption among pregnant women.
