ABSTRACT
Danger signs of pregnancy are signs that indicate danger that can occur during pregnancy, which if not detected can cause death. During pregnancy, danger signs of pregnancy can occur such as in the first trimester, namely excessive nausea and vomiting, high fever, and bleeding. While in the second trimester, danger signs are edema, reduced fetal movement, and no weight gain, and in the third trimester, danger signs are premature rupture of membranes and abnormal position. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women with the class of pregnant women in the working area of the Sidomulyo Inpatient Health Center, Pekanbaru City in 2025. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional research design. The population in this study were all pregnant women in TM III, totaling 100 people. The sample was 80 people with a sampling technique of Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate. Data testing was carried out using the Chi-square statistical test, obtained a P value = 0.000 and a degree of error of 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge of pregnant women with the class of pregnant women. It is hoped that the research site can provide more optimal education, especially for pregnant women, so that they will be more active in attending prenatal classes.
